Abstract
장애인의 보건의료 실태와 관련한 공적 지원은 이들의 사회활동과 자립에 있어서 가장 기본적인 요소이다. 장애인구의 증가와 함께 장애인의 고령화도 진행될 것으로 전망되어 이에 따라 건강관리와 의료지원이 장애분야에서 주요한 과제로 등장하게 될 것이다. 보다 장기적인 관점에서 이들의 보건의료 및 건강관리를 위해 제도적 미비점의 보완과 함께 관련 시설과 인력의 확충, 장애특성을 고려한 프로그램의 개발이 요구된다.
