| dc.description.abstract | 이주인구의 증가에 따라 이주자 건강 증진을 위한 국제사회의 관심이 높아지고 있으며, 이를 위한 구체적 정책적 제안과 국제 협력이 이뤄지고 있다. 이주자들은 사회, 경제, 문화적 요인들로 인하여 일반적으로 열악한 건강환경에 처해 있는데, 이에 대한 개선 노력은 인권적 차원의 접근과 공중보건적 차원의 접근의 흐름을 반영하고 있다. 특별히 이러한 노력들을 종합하려는 시도로 지난 2010년 마드리드에서는 WHO와 IOM이 스페인 정부와 공동으로 ‘이주자 건강에 관한 국제 회의’를 개최하고 정책적 제안을 제시하였다. 새로운 시도들은 이주자들의 이주과정 및 이주배경의 사회문화적 맥락들을 이해하고, 이를 건강증진 정책 실천에 반영하고자 이주자 포용적(migrant inclusive)인 접근과 다양한 의료 및 비의료 차원들의 협력을 제안하고 있다. |
