Abstract
- 국제사회의 담배규제기본협약에 따른 정책추진의 사례를 보면, 점차 금연정책을 강화하는 방향으로 빠르게 전환되고 있고 흡연율감소의 효과로 이어지고 있음.
- 우리나라 성인의 흡연율은 2000년대 중반까지 급격히 감소하다가 최근에는 답보상태에 있고, 남자 청소년흡연율은 증가추세임. 담배규제기본협약의 과학적 근거와 권고를 반영하여 담배규제정책을 체계적으로 개선해야 할 시기임.
