The study of daily life of aged women living alone who receive the National Basic Livelihood Security Program

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to understand the daily life of aged women linving alone who receive the government`s livelihood subsidy on a daily basis. To accomplish this purpose, I recruited 9 aged women living alone by a purposive sampling. Collected data were analyzed from the explanation- building of case study. In research findings, I presented three dimensions of the daily life; the experience in residential, food, government's livelihood subsidy of life. The theme of the first part is ‘wandering and isolation’, ‘working as a domestic servant’. The theme of the second part is a ‘lunchbox’, ‘coffee’, ‘tobacco’. The theme of the last is the right of the ‘take off the burden of exhausting life’, ‘retrospection of regretful life’, ‘developing a new relationship’. According to these results, I offer suggestions Housing and welfare for the elderly for policy and, Dimensions of community practice and further researches.
