dc.description.abstract	가정 외에 아동이 가장 많은 시간을 보내는 학교에서 만족스러운 생활을 영위하는 것은 아동의 전체적인 삶의 만족도 제고를 위해 매우 중요하다. 그러나 학교생활에 만족하는 아동의 비율은 2019년 76.5%보다 감소하여 2024년 71.3%를 나타냈다. 따라서 이 글에서는 우리나라 아동의 학교생활 만족도 제고를 위한 정책적 시사점을 모색하기 위해 2023년 아동종합실태조사 자료를 바탕으로 우리나라 아동의 학교생활 만족도 실태와 그것에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석했다. 그 결과 우리나라 아동의 학교생활 만족도를 높이기 위해서는 초·중·고등학교 교급별로 학교생활 만족도에 미치는 영향 요인이 다르므로 차별성이 있는 정책 목표와 개입이 필요함을 확인했다. 학교생활 만족도 수준이 가장 낮은 고등학생의 학교생활 만족도가 높아져야 전체 아동의 학교생활 만족 수준이 높아질 수 있다. 이를 위해서는 학업 스트레스를 낮추고, 선생님과의 긍정적 관계 형성을 지원하기 위한 정책적 노력이 더욱 필요하다.
dc.description.abstract	The percentage of children satisfied with their school life, a key child development indicator outlined in the 2nd Master Plan for Child Policy, has declined below its 2019 level, falling far short of reaching the 80-percent target set for 2024. Drawing on data from the 2023 Comprehensive Survey on Children, I explore the current state of school satisfaction among Korean children and factors affecting it. The findings suggest that, in order to raise the overall school satisfaction, measures must focus particularly on children attending high school, who, compared to their middle- or elementary-school counterparts, report notably lower life satisfaction, and that as the factors affecting school satisfaction differ across the three divisions of pre-tertiary education—elementary, middle, and high school—policy interventions must be tailored to differentiated goals.
