최근 몇 년간 담배반출량은 증가하고 있으나 흡연율은 전반적으로 감소하고 있어 이에 대한 원인을 분석하였으며, 그 원인으로 국내 거주 외국인 증가, 청소년 흡연 증가 등등 몇 가지 원인을 들 수 있음.
