Abstract
This study analyzes the effect of non-face-to-face health management services based on a survey of 2759 individuals aged 19 to 69 who used these services for at least a month in the previous three years. Before the survey, the utilization of non-face-to-face health management had increased from 2019 to 2022. Physical exercise and weight control services were more frequently used than others. Respondents cited “time-saving” (52%), “cost and resource efficiency” (46%), “support for health management” (58%), and “reduced difficulties in health management” (53%) as reasons for finding non-face-to-face services useful. Digital Health Literacy (DHL) was found to be positively related to the subjective effectiveness of six different health care services. Policies and support are needed to enhance people’s ability to use non-face-to-face health management services.
