dc.description.abstract	- 2000년대에 들어서면서부터 서구 국가들은 사회정책의 주요 지표 중 하나로 성별 연금 격차를 지속적으로 관리하고 있으며, 최근 성별 연금 격차는 점차 감소하는 추이를 보임. - 국민연금의 노령연금 수급자 수와 급여액이 매년 증가하고 있으나 여전히 남녀 간 수급률과 가입 기간 격차는 크게 벌어지고 있음. 특히 여성은 유족연금 등의 파생적 수급권을 통한 급여 확보 비율이 여전히 높고 20년 이상의 장기 가입이 어려워 적절한 수준의 급여를 보장받지 못하는 열악한 상황에 놓여 있음. - 성별 연금 격차의 개선은 여성의 연금 수급권 확보 및 가입 기간 확대를 위한 정책적 노력이 더욱 적극적으로 이루어질 때 가능하다는 점을 제시함.
