Abstract
Global temperatures are projected to hit a tipping point in the near future. This suggests that, even if carbon neutrality policies are actively implemented, keeping our health safe from the damaging effects of the climate crisis will be difficult without additional “adaptation” policies. However, awareness of the health impacts of the climate crisis remains low, and new health adaptation agendas such as climate anxiety are emerging. In this article, I critically examine the current state of laws and policies on climate change and health adaptation and suggest changes that are needed in the future.
