Abstract
한국의료패널은 한국보건사회연구원과 국민건강보험공단이 공동으로 수행하는 패널조사로, 2008년부터 국민의 의료비 지출과 의료 이용 결정 요인 등에 대해 지속적으로 자료를 생산하고 연구를 진행하고 있다. 한국의료패널 조사의 목적은 국민의 의료비 지출 규모와 보건의료서비스 이용을 파악하고 관련 지표를 생산하여 보건의료 정책 수행의 기초 정보를 제공하는 것이다.
본 기초분석보고서는 2기 한국의료패널 2차 조사인 2020년 연간데이터의 분석 결과와 2022년 조사 운영 내용을 기술하였다. 본 보고서에 수록된 기초분석 결과는 한국의료패널 가구와 가구원의 2020년 의료 이용 및 보건의료비 지출, 의료이용 경험 등을 포함한다. 본 보고서의 기초분석 결과는 관련 정책 개발과 다양한 심층분석 연구의 기초 근거자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
The Korea Health Panel Survey (KHP) is a nationally representative survey of health care utilization and expenditures for the Korean population. KHP began in 2008 and has been administered by a consortium between the Korea Institute for Health and Social Affairs (KIHASA) and the National Health Insurance Service (NHIS). The KHP provides not only information on health care untilization and expenditures, but also various factors affecting health care use such as socioeconomic characteristics, comorbidities, and health behaviors. This report includes descriptive statistics on comorbidities, healthcare utilization and expenditures, patient experiences, unmet health care needs, and health behaviors of 13,530 individuals from 6,190 households in 2020. This report provides empirical evidence to better understand healthcare utilization and expenditures of Korean population.
