dc.description.abstract	저출산 및 고령화의 심화에 사전적으로 대응하고, 인구사회구조 변화에 안정적으로 적응하기 위해 저출산고령사회기본계획이 매 5년마다 수립되어 추진되고 있다. 고령사회정책의 일환으로 고령자를 대상으로 경제 및 사회활동 지원 정책이 수립되고 있으며, 제4차 저출산고령사회기본계획에서는 고령 근로자가 가능한 한 오래 노동시장에서 근무할 수 있는 환경 조성과 지원 방안이 강화되고 있다. 은퇴기 또는 노년기의 삶의 질을 보장하고 다양한 사회활동을 지원하기 위한 정책 과제들도 제시되었다. 이 글에서는 고령자의 경제 및 사회활동 참여 현황과 정책 과제를 검토하고, 저출산고령사회기본계획에서 보완되거나 개선되어야 할 정책 영역을 제안하였다.
dc.description.abstract	The Basic Plan for Low Fertility and Aging Society is created and updated every five in years in order to proactively address the aging population and declining birthrate and to adjust steadily to changes in social structure. As part of the aging society policy, measures have been taken to the support economic and social activities of the elderly, and in the 4th Basic Plan for Low Fertility and Aging Society, efforts have been taken to strengthen the measures to create an environment in which elderly workers can remain in the labor market for as long as possible. Additionally, policy initiatives have been proposed to support different social activities and ensure the quality of life in old age or retirement. This paper examines the current state of and policies on older people’s economic and social participation and suggests areas that needs to be improved upon in the Basic Plan.
