dc.description.abstract	재생산건강(reproductive health)은 신체의 건강이라는 보건의료적 차원의 개념에서 사회적 개념으로 확장되어 왔다. 생식건강이라고도 불리는 재생산건강은 권리로서 보장되어야 하는 개념으로 정립되었다. 이 글에서는 2021년 수행된 ‘가족과 출산 조사’를 통해 생식건강 증상의 경험과 대처, 피임 지식, 피임 방법, 난임 경험 등 임신 전의 생식건강과 관련된 실태를 살펴보고, 인구 정책으로 추진된 재생산건강 정책의 변화와 현황을 살펴보고자 한다. 향후 재생산건강을 지원하는 정책은 개인의 재생산권 보장을 위해 인간으로서 누려야 하는 권리 차원에서 추진되어야 할 것이다.
dc.description.abstract	Reproductive health as a concept has extended from medical care as a means of physical health to a social concept. The prevalent notion now is that reproductive health should be guaranteed as a right. Drawing on the findings of the Family and Fertility Survey conducted in 2021, this article examines Korean women’s pre-pregnancy reproductive health status, including reproductive health issues and coping strategies, contraceptive knowledge, contraceptive methods, and infertility experience. Also, the current reproductive health policy and its changes are examined. In the future, policies to support reproductive health should be implemented for the purpose of ensuring individual reproductive rights as human rights.
