Abstract
As ‘data’ emerges as a core value in the era of the 4th industrial revolution, the necessity and importance of integrated data management is being emphasized. As the utility of health and welfare system data, which consists of data on the daily life of the general public and on the vulnerable, becomes increasingly important, it is necessary to prepare a data management system. First, in order to comprehensively manage health and welfare data, there is a need to have in place data officers and data management units to work within and between agencies. Also, a Data Management Committee is needed to perform the coordinating role as a whole. Second, it is necessary to find health and welfare location information and establish a database. Third, a health and welfare data catalog needs to be build to help users better locate and find the data they need. Fourth, a standard classification system for health and welfare data should be prepared to achieve data integration, data linkage, and improved data utilization. Fifth,, building a Health and Welfare Integrated Data Platform at the Ministry of Health and Welfare level can help manage data comprehensively. The Platform should improve and it has data utilization, data analysis, and data linkage, and provide such as project guides, guidelines, related research reports and data.
