The Management and Operation of the Health and Welfare Data Portal System 2020

Abstract

Current study operates the Health and Welfare Data Portal System through which the collected health & welfare statistics, micro-data is provided to the public. Launched in 2011, the Health and Welfare Data Portal provides a variety of survey related meta data produced through KIHASA’s research, and from world-wide, micro data produced by surveys. ‘Social Statistics’ is a new service that was constructed in 2018, which provides statistical data on SNS opinions about Health and Welfare Policy. From 2019, we released social data on health and welfare collected every month. In 2020, raw data of social statistics is being released on the portal. We have created an environment that is easily accessible for users. In addition, we changed the services policy so that it can be used free of charge in order to activate the use of survey micro data, and improved meta information of statistics produced by our institute among health statistics submitted to the OECD.
