Abstract
In 2019, this research was to research and analyze the determinants of an walking-promoting program using information and communications technology(ICT), a policy initiative that has been planned by a local Public Health Centre in a southern city of Gimhae. This study adopted general procedures of Health Impact Assessment, including literature review of population characteristics and survey of residents and leaders.
Results of this study concluded that ICT can be a health promoting tool for motivation for behavior change and challenges. There was a need to tailor exercise-encouraging measures differently according to the needs of different age groups as well.
