Abstract: 글로벌 불확실성과 미래에 대한 불안감이 증폭됨에 따라 유럽과 동아시아에서 모두 출산율이 하락하고 있다. 우리나라가 저출산 대응을 위해 모범으로 삼았던 유럽 국가의 가족 정책은 기존의 이론과 평가에 도전을 받고 있다. 새로운 세대가 등장하고 환경이 변화함에 따라 출산에 대한 연구와 분석도 시대의 흐름에 맞추어 수행해야 할 필요가 있다. 본 연구는 최근 유럽과 동아시아에서 나타나고 있는 결혼과 출산 생애의 변화에 대하여 국제 공동 비교 연구를 수행하여 저출산고령화의 이슈를 성공적으로 대응해 나갈 수 있는 방안을 모색하였다.
