정신보건영역에서의 자기결정권의 존중 및 인권보호는 중요한 기초이다. 이 글에서는 호주 뉴사우스웨일스주의 정신보건법과 정신건강서비스 전달체계를 기반으로 비자의 치료 의사결정과 인권보호에 대해 살펴보고, 우리나라에 주는 시사점을 찾아보고자 한다.
