Abstract
This study aims to examine the relationships among internal marketing of social welfare organizations, organizational commitment and organizational performance and further to verify the mediating effect of organizational commitment between internal marketing and organizational performance. For these purposes, we performed the survey with social welfare workers employed in 3 kinds of social welfare organizations including social welfare centers, welfare centers for the disabled, and welfare centers for the elderly located in Daegu and GyeongBuk area. The main study results are as follows. First, the positive correlation was found among internal marketing, organizational performance and organizational commitment. Second, organizational commitment showed a mediating effect between the internal marketing and organizational performance. Based on the survey findings, we presented policy and practical implications. This study is expected to provide various kinds of implications for effective management of social welfare organizations.
