| dc.description.abstract | 폭넓은 협의를 거쳐 개발된 호주 최초의 국가완화의료전략은 2000년에 호주의 모든 주와 준주에서 승인을 얻었으며, 2010년에 한 번 개정되었다. 동 완화의료전략은 (1) 완화의료에 대한 인식과 이해 제고, (2) 완화의료의 질과 효과성 제고, (3) 완화의료 협력 관계 강화에 중점을 둔다. 이 전략의 핵심적 특징은 일반 의료 종사자가 갖춰야 할 완화의료 기술과 역량(완화의료적 접근)을 정의한 데 있다. 완화의료의 전문적 기술과 역량이 필요한 부분은 완화의료 전문가가 지원한다. 국가완화의료전략의 개발에 맞춰 호주완화의료협회는 완화의료전략 ‘핵심운영지침’들을 개발하였다. 2016년 두 번째 개정을 위한 평가 결과, 국가완화의료전략은 ‘완화의료서비스가 호주의 의료체계 전반에 지속적으로 확대·개선될 수 있는’ 환경 조성에 기여한 것으로 나타났다. |
