Abstract
This study is on the influence of job competency on workers’ assessment in case management in community child center, based on measurements of the recognition levels provided by the job competency(self-efficacy, professional capability, organizational commitment, job satisfaction). I collected 252 samples from workers who are presently working at community child center, and analyzed the data using hierarchical regression analysis. The results of this study are: Through hierarchical regression analysis, the level one analysis showed the effect of the general factors on assessment (2.1%). The level two analyses showed the added effect of job competency(self-efficacy, professional capability, organizational commitment, job satisfaction) factor on assessment (33.3%). By adding job competency (self-efficacy, professional capability, organizational commitment, job satisfaction) factor, the R2 of assessment increases 31.5%. This result is statistically significant. The level two job competency factors significantly affecting assessment were professional capability(β= .390), self-efficacy(β= .150), organizational commitment(β= .132), job satisfaction(β= .123). To enhance the performance level of workers’ assessment in community child center, various policies and programs are necessary to improve worker’s job competency(self-efficacy, professional capability, organizational commitment, job satisfaction).
