dc.description.abstract	종래 복지국가는 실업 및 빈부격차 축소문제를 해소하지 못한 채 과다한 복지지출로 국가재정이 적자위기에 시달려왔다. 또한 이들 국가들의 관대한 복지급여는 수혜자들의 복지 의존적 생활양식과 근로동기 저하를 가져왔다는 지적이 있어왔다. 따라서 이러한 문제들을 좀더 집중적이고 포괄적으로 대처하기 위해 복지경제 모형의 새로운 시도가 필요하며 새로운 복지국가모형을 설계하는데 있어서 특히 고려할 사항은 실업문제의 심각성, 소득분배의 악화, 재정위기와 경제 침체, 그리고 근로동기 저하 등이 해결될 수 있는 포괄적인 정책연계가 필요하다
