| dc.description.abstract | 본 연구는 우리나라가 오랜 기간 경험하고 있는 초저출산 양상에 대한 새로운 논의를 제시하고 관련 정책적 대응 방안을 모색하기 위한 목적하에 수행되었다. 본 연구는 특히 현재 청년 세대의 취약성이 결혼과 출산과 같은 생애주기 내 주된 단계로의 진행에 부정적인 영향을 미칠 가능성과 더불어 사회 구조의 양극화와 어떠한 연관성을 형성하고 있는지에 대하여 살펴보고자 하였다. 또한, 이러한 연관성의 매개로서 광범위한 사회적 불안정성에 함께 주목하였다. 본 연구의 실증분석 결과는 사회경제적 불평등이 저출산과 연관성을 형성하고 있으며, 이러한 연관성이 사회적 불안정성과 맞물린 현재 청년층의 취약성과도 무관하지 않음을 시사하고 있다. |
| dc.description.abstract | This study was conducted to supplement discussions on the characteristics of Korea’s ultra-low fertility rate. We focused on the possibility that the internal and external vulnerabilities of the current youth generation could negatively affect their progression to key life stages, such as marriage and childbirth. We also considered how the rapid decline in fertility rates may be linked to increasingly individual-level disparities caused by the polarization of social structures and various forms of inequality compared to older generations. Furthermore, we determined that these issues are closely related to the broader social instability currently recognized as a pressing concern in Korea. |
