| dc.description.abstract | 이 글은 한국 노인의 가족 및 사회적 관계 현황을 파악하여 노인의 사회적 관계를 유지하고, 부족한 가족 기능을 보완하기 위한 방안을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 보건복지부와 한국보건사회연구원에서 수행한 2023년 노인실태조사 자료를 활용하여 가족 및 사회적 관계망의 형태 및 규모(구조적 차원)와 접촉 실태, 지원 교환(기능적 차원) 등을 중심으로 분석하였다. 분석 결과 노인 단독가구의 고착화, 혈연 중심 관계망의 축소와 동년배 중심 관계망의 강화, 사회적 고립의 위험집단 등을 확인하였다. 이를 바탕으로 사회적 고립 위험이 높은 노인에 대한 정책적 관심 강화, 동년배와의 관계 강화를 위한 지원, 비공식적 돌봄을 보완할 수 있는 기제 다양화 등을 제안하였다. |
| dc.description.abstract | This study aims to examine the current state of familial and social relationships among the elderly in Korea and propose strategies to address ongoing changes. Utilizing data from the 2023 National Survey of Older Koreans, conducted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Korea Institute for Health and Social Affairs, we analyzed the structural aspects (forms and sizes) of family and social networks, as well as the functional aspects (contact patterns and support exchanges). The analysis identified trends such as the entrenchment of single-person elderly households, the contraction of kin-centered networks, the expansion of peer-centered networks, and the characteristics of individuals at risk of social isolation. Based on these findings, we recommend strengthening policy attention for elderly individuals at high risk of social isolation, enhancing support for peer relationships, and diversifying mechanisms to complement informal caregiving. |
