dc.description.abstract	이 글은 중고령 1인가구의 규모 변화와 1인가구 집단 내 특성 변화를 연령군별로 살펴봄으로써 중고령 1인가구의 과거·현재·미래 모습을 그려 보며 이들의 삶의 모습을 기반으로 정책적 욕구를 파악하고, 장단기적 개선 방안을 마련하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 중고령 1인가구의 특성을 시계열 분석과 연령군별 분석을 통해 살펴보았으며, 이들의 어려움과 정책 욕구도 검토하였다. 이를 기반으로 이 연구에서는 의료 및 돌봄, 주거, 정서적 지원 측면에서의 제도적 개편 방안을 장단기적 관점에서 제시하였다.
dc.description.abstract	This article aims to discuss policy strategies for supporting one-person households among middle-aged and older adults. Using time-series analysis, I examined changes in the share and characteristics of middle-aged and older adults living alone, outlining a profile of their past, present, and projected living conditions. I also highlighted challenges and support needs specific to different age groups within the demographic. Based on the findings, this article presents policy options, from both short- and long-term perspectives, to better address the health, housing, and emotional needs of these one-person households.
