대졸 미취업 청년의 취업준비 잠재계층 유형과 영향 요인: 거주지역에 따른 차이를 중심으로 = Identification and Prediction of the Latent Class of Employment Preparation among College-Graduated Unemployed Youth: Focusing on Differences by Residential Area

| dc.description.abstract | 본 연구는 대졸 미취업 청년의 취업준비 특성에 따라 구분되는 취업준비 잠재계층 유형을 확인하고, 각 유형에 영향을 미치는 요인을 살펴보는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 고용노동부와 한국고용정보원에서 실시한 「청년패널조사(Youth Panel)」 14차년도 자료를 사용하였다. 대졸 미취업 청년 총 592명을 연구 대상으로 잠재계층분석(LCA)과 다항 로지스틱 회귀분석을 수행하였다. 분석 결과, 대졸 미취업 청년 취업준비 잠재계층 유형은 수도권은 3개, 비수도권은 2개로 분류되었으며, 그 특성에 따라 수도권은 ‘스펙준비형(5.1%)’, ‘고시준비형(19.9%)’, ‘정체형(75.0%)’, 비수도권은 ‘스펙·고시 혼합형(3.7%)’, ‘정체형(96.3%)’으로 명명하였다. 각 유형에 영향을 미치는 요인을 확인한 결과 수도권의 경우 연령, 가구소득, 자아존중감, 자기효능감이, 비수도권은 연령, 자기효능감이 영향을 미치는 요인으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구 결과를 기반으로 연구의 함의와 거주지역별 취업준비 유형에 따른 맞춤형 지원 방안을 논의하였다. |
| dc.description.abstract | This study aims to identify latent class types of job preparation among college-graduate unemployed youth and examine factors influencing each type. Data from the 14th year of the Youth Panel Survey, conducted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and the Korea Employment Information Service, were used. A total of 592 college-graduate unemployed youth aged 19 to 34, excluding current students, were selected as participants. Latent class analysis (LCA) and multinomial logistic regression were conducted to analyze the data. The analysis revealed three types in metropolitan areas: 'Skill Preparation Type (5.1%),' 'Exam Preparation Type (19.9%),' and 'Stagnation Type (75.0%)'. In metropolitan areas, the types identified were 'Employment-Exam Mixed Type (3.7%)' and 'Stagnation Type (96.3%)'. Factors predicting each type included age, household income, self-esteem, and self-efficacy in metropolitan areas, while age and self-efficacy were factors in non-metropolitan areas. Notably, individuals in non-metropolitan areas, and older youth in particular, were more likely to belong to the 'Stagnation Type'. Based on these findings, this study discusses implications and customized support measures for job preparation types according to residential areas. |
