dc.description.abstract	온라인 의약품 처방 정보는 개인건강기록(PHR)의 한 종류로 전자처방전의 사용이 늘면서 정보 활용에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 유럽연합(EU)에서는 국제 전자처방전 및 전자 조제시스템을 구축하여 EU 회원국 사이에 의약품 처방 및 조제에 관한 지리적 제약과 언어적 한계를 극복하였다. 일본은 지난해 전자처방전을 도입하였고 온라인 의약품 처방 정보와 환자의 전자 약 수첩을 연계하여 환자가 복용하는 모든 의약품을 의료진과 약사가 검토할 수 있도록 하였다. 유럽과 일본의 사례는 온라인 의약품 처방 정보가 의료서비스의 질 제고와 안전하고 효과적인 의약품 복용에 활용될 수 있다는 것을 보여 준다고 하겠다.
dc.description.abstract	With the growing utilization of e-prescriptions, the use of online prescription information as part of personal health records has gained increasing attention. The EU has built an international system of e-prescription and e-dispensation that enables users to overcome geographic and linguistic barriers. Japan last year adopted the use of e-prescriptions and, by linking online prescription information with the patient’s “electronic medication notebooks,” allowed physicians and pharmacists to keep track of all the medication intakes. The EU and Japan exemplify how online prescription information can enhance the quality of health care services and make medication intake safer and more effective.
