dc.description.abstract	본 연구는 1인 가구의 계속적 증가를 고려하여, 취약계층으로서 중고령 1인 가구를 보는 관점에서 벗어나 보편적 가구형태 중 하나인 중고령 1인 가구를 위한 사회정책적 개선방안 마련을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 현재의 중장년 1인 가구와 노인 1인 가구의 특성을 비교하고, 중장년 1인 가구의 욕구를 살펴보았으며, 법․제도적 측면에서 중고령 1인 가구의 특성을 고려한 법·제도적 쟁점에 대한 검토를 바탕으로 중고령 1인가구의 안정된 삶을 위한 사회정책적 개선방안을 도출하였다.
dc.description.abstract	This study aims to move away from the perspective of viewing middle-aged and older individuals living in single-person households as a vulnerable class. Instead, it seeks improvement in social policy measures for single-person households of middle-aged and older individuals as a common household type, reflecting their heterogeneity. To achieve this, the study conducted a comparative analysis of the characteristics of current single-person households of middle-aged and older adults. It also explored the specific needs of these households and scrutinized legal and policy issues pertinent to them. Subsequently, social policy enhancement measures were derived to promote the stability of life for individuals in these households.
