| dc.description.abstract | 지역사회 기반 정신질환자의 회복을 지원하기 위한 복지서비스는 법에 명시되어 있을 뿐 실질적인 복지서비스로 구현되지 못하였고, 정신질환자의 지역사회 거주 및 회복을 위한 신체건강은 정신질환자에게 기본적이자 필수 요소임에도 불구하고, 현장에서 정신질환자의 신체건강 증진을 위한 지원 역시 제한적이었다. 따라서, 이 연구는 지역사회 거주 정신질환자의 목소리뿐 아니라 가족과 보호자 및 현장 실무자의 의견을 담아 정신질환자의 건강, 건강관리 및 복지서비스 이용 경험, 서비스에 대한 수요를 확인하고, 이들에게 필요한 건강 및 복지서비스 지원 방안을 제시하는 데 목적을 두었다. |
| dc.description.abstract | Global and national policies emphasize that people with mental illness should be supported for recovery in order to enable them to live independently and integrated in the community. In Korea, although services for community-based recovery support are specified in the Mental Health Welfare Act, they have not been fully implemented. In addition, although physical health of people with mental illness is a basic and essential element for living in the community and recovery of illness, support in the field has been limited for improving their physical health. Therefore, through a review of previous studies, a stakeholder survey, qualitative interviews, and expert advisory meetings, this study explores the health status, health and welfare service use experience and demand of people with mental illness living in the community. In addition, focusing on individual health and welfare service areas, this study suggests ways how to improve health of people with mental illness living in the community, how to increase their access to welfare services, how to lead independent lives, how to get employment while receiving legitimate convenience, and how to support them to enjoy education, culture and leisure life without exclusion and discrimination. Along with this, the study suggests policy support measures for discussions due to the recent abolition of Article 15 of the Welfare of Disabled Persons Act. |
