본고는 새로운 생산개념에 기초하여 통계청에서 2004년도에 실시한 생활시간조사 자료를 활용하여 한국노인의 생산활동 참여실태를 살펴보고 그러한 생산활동이 갖는 경제적 가치를 산출한 후 정책적 함의를 찾아보고 있음.
