dc.description.abstract	본 연구는 한국아동패널(Panel Study of Korean Children) 1차년도(2008년)부터 7차년도(2014년)까지의 자료를 사용하여 보육시설을 이용한 아동들 간 보육시설 이용 시작 시점에 따른 발달의 차이를 분석하였다. 구체적으로, 분위회귀분석을 사용하여 보육시설 이용 시작 시점이 이른 집단과 늦은 집단 간에 아동발달(내재화⋅외현화 행동, 수용어휘력, 학습준비도) 분포상 차이가 발생하는지 살펴보았다. 분석 결과, 문제행동의 위험도가 높은 경우(문제행동 수준 분위가 높은 경우) 보육서비스를 일찍 이용할수록 내재화 및 외현화 점수가 더 높았다. 그러나 이러한 부정적인 문제행동은 장기간 지속되지는 않는 것으로 확인되었다. 둘째, 학습준비도가 낮은 경우(20~30% 분위) 보육서비스를 일찍부터 이용하기 시작한 아동들이 2012년(만 4세)부터 보육시설을 이용한 그룹에 비해 의사소통 점수가 더 높게 나타났다. 셋째, 부모 중 한 명이 고등학교를 졸업한 가구의 아동을 대상으로 보육서비스 이용 시작 시점별 차이를 살펴본 결과, 보육서비스 이용 시작 시점에 따라 통계적으로 유의한 학습준비도의 차이를 발견하지 못했다. 이를 바탕으로 보육서비스가 효과적일 수 있도록 고위험군 아동을 대상으로 하는 프로그램과 저학력 부모 가구 아동을 위한 보육서비스 등의 정책적 지원을 제안한다.
dc.description.abstract	This study examined the effect of the timing of usage of early childcare on children’s development using Panel Study of Korean Children from the 1st to 7th waves. Applying a quanitle regression, we compared the distribution of internalizing, externalizing problem, receptive vocabulary score, and school readiness between children who entered early childcare at their early age of 1-2 and children who entered early childcare at the age of 4. The study found that when the risk of problem behavior is higher in the distribution of risk behaviors among children, the earlier the childcare service is used, the higher the possibility of internalization and externalization problems. However, even in high-risk children, problem behaviors do not persist for a long time. Second, in terms of school readiness, children in the lower decile (20-30th percentile) who used childcare services early had higher communication scores than the group who used childcare facilities from 2012 onwards. Third, as a result of examining the effect of the time of childcare service use for children of low-educated parents, it was found that the early use of childcare service had no statistically significant effect on the school readiness. Based on this, we propose policy support for high-risk children such as program interventions tailored to the child's propensity and childcare services for the vulnerable, low-educated households.
