| dc.description.abstract | 아시아 지역의 경제협력개발기구(OECD) 회원국의 하나인 우리나라가 정보, 정책경험, 기술적 전문성에 대한 교류를 통하여 아시아 지역의 보건 및 사회정책 발전에 기여할 수 있는 기회를 갖게 되었다. RCHSP의 기능 중에서 가장 핵심적이고 가시적인 업무는 아시아 지역에서 국제기준에 따라 보건 및 사회정책분야의 정책지표와 관련통계가 생산ㆍ활용되도록 하는 것이다. 현재 진행 또는 예정중인 정책지표 및 통계사업은 보건지표/보건계정 사업(Health Indicators/Health Accounting Project), 사회지표/사회계정 사업(Social Indicators/Social Accounting Project), 연금 정책분석사업(APEX) 등 3가지이다. 이러한 작업을 통하여 아시아는 우리의 이웃을 좀 더 잘 알고, 이웃의 좋은 경험으로부터 서로 배울 수 있는 기회를 좀 더 많이 갖게 될 것이다. 이러한 RCHSP의 기여는 우리나라가 OECD 등 다른 국제기구와 협력하여 아시아 비회원국의 보건 및 사회정책분야의 역량구축을 지원함으로써 우리의 경제규모에 걸맞은 국제사회에 대한 공헌과 함께, 위상을 제고하는 효과도 아울러 기대할 수 있다. |
