dc.description.abstract	이 글은 한국 노인의 가족 및 사회적 관계의 실태를 파악하고, 나아가 현재의 변화 경향에 대응할 수 있는 방안을 제시하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 보건복지부와 한국보건사회연구원에서 수행한 2020년 노인실태조사 자료를 활용하였으며, 가족 및 사회적 관계망의 구조적 측면(형태 및 규모), 기능적 측면(접촉 실태 및 지원 교환), 인식적 측면(부양 가치관)을 중심으로 파악하였다. 분석 결과, 노인 단독 가구의 보편화, 자녀 중심 관계망 축소 및 동년배 중심의 관계망 다각화, 자립적인 노후 생활 가치관 증가 등을 확인하였다. 이를 바탕으로 노인 단독 가구에 대한 정책적 관심 강화, 공적 돌봄 체계의 강화, 동년배 관계 증진을 위한 지원, 개인 및 사회의 적극적 노후 준비 등을 제안하였다.
dc.description.abstract	The purpose of this article is to understand the current status of family and social relationships of older Koreans and to present ways to respond to current trends in change. To this end, this study analyzed data from the 2020 National Survey of Older Koreans conducted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Korea Institute of Health and Social Affairs, focusing on changes in the structure, function, and perceived values of family and social relationships. This analysis confirmed that there have been general increases in households made up of seniors only, a reduction of family relationships with children, a diversification of the peer relationship network, and increases in the perceived value of independent life in old age. Based on its findings, this article recommends to strengthen policy attention to seniors living alone or in couples, strengthen the public care system, support the promotion of peer relationships among seniors, and help individuals and society prepare for old age.
