| dc.description.abstract | 지난 6월 23일 치러진 국민투표에서 영국인 다수가 유럽연합 탈퇴를 결정함으로써 세계는 충격에 빠졌다. 3,360만 명의 투표자 중 52%가 찬성함으로써 영국은 40년 만에 유럽연합과의 결별을 선언한 것이다. 브렉시트를 선택함으로써 세계경제에 불확실성을 던진 영국은 국내적으로는 투표 결과로 드러난 엘리트와 서민 간의 갈등, 기성세대와 신세대 간의 갈등, 잔류를 지지한 스코틀랜드, 북아일랜드, 런던 등의 지역과 탈퇴를 지지한 지역 간의 갈등이라는 새로운 정치·경제·사회적 국면을 맞게 되었다. |
