자살행동 영향 요인: 성별, 연령별 집단 비교를 중심으로 = Factors Affecting Suicidal Behavior: Focused on Comparison Gender and Age Difference

| dc.description.abstract | 본 연구는 성별과 연령에 따라 집단을 분류해 자살 행동에 영향을 미치는 요인을 비교하고자 하였다. 특히 기존의 연구가 초점을 둔 심리적 요인뿐만 아니라 주변인자살, 자살에 대한 태도, 사회갈등에 대한 인식, 사회에 대한 신뢰도와 같은 사회문화적 요인의 영향을 살펴보고자 하였다. 이러한 연구 목적을 위하여 2009 한국종합사회조사(KGSS)자료를 활용하여 분석하였는데 분석대상은 총 1,599명 이었다. 자료는 SPSS 15.0 프로그램을 이용해 분석하였고, 주요 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 남성 성인의 경우 스트레스, 우울, 동거형태가 자살행동과 관련이 있는 것으로 나타났고, 여성 성인의 경우 스트레스, 우울, 자살태도, 경제상태, 건강상태가 관련이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 남성노인의 자살행동 관련 요인은 스트레스, 우울, 사회갈등에 대한 인식이었고, 여성 노인의 경우는 우울, 주변인자살, 자살태도였다. 이상의 연구 결과를 기초로 자살예방을 위한 함의를 제안하였다. 즉 전체 인구집단에 대한 우울 예방 및 조기발견, 치료를 위한 다양한 개입방안 마련의 필요성, 높은 수준의 스트레스를 경험하고 있는 고위험군 성인 집단을 선별할 수 있는 스크리닝 척도 개발과 자기효능감 증진을 통한 스트레스 대처기제 강화, 자살에 대한 보도방법 및 내용 개선을 통한 자살에 대한 인식 변화 도모, 자살 유가족을 위한 개입 방안 마련의 필요성, 사회통합을 위한 사회갈등 완화 노력의 필요성을 논의하였다. |
| dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this study is to identify factors that predict suicidal behavior and further examines whether there is gender and age difference. For the study, the Korean General Social Survey(KGSS, 2009) data was analyzed. Sample consists of 1,599 individuals aged 18 and over. Multiple regression was used for data analyses with SPSS 15.0 version. The results shows that (1) stress, depression and living alone were significant variables of suicidal behavior for men between aged of 18 to 59, (2) stress, depression suicidal attitude, economic status and health status were significant variables of suicidal behavior for women between aged of 18 to 59, (3) stress, depression and conception of social conflict were significant variables of suicidal behavior for men aged 60 and over, and (4) depression, suicide survival and suicidal attitude were significant variables of suicidal behavior for women aged 60 and over. Based on these findings, implications were discussed for preventing suicide. |
