| dc.description.abstract | 전세계적으로 간접흡연의 피해를 감소시키고자 공공장소에서의 흡연규제정책은 점차적으로 강화되어 왔다. 간접흡연규제정책의 흐름은 흡연을 제한하는 공공장소의 범위를 확대하고, 흡연규제내용에서는 초기에는 실내에서의 흡연장소를 제한하여 지정된 장소에서만 흡연을 하도록 허용하였으나, 점차, 실내에서의 완전금연정책으로 변화되어왔다. 그러나 최근에는 실외에서의 흡연이 실내로 유입되는 것을 막기 위하여, 금연시설과 인접한 실외에서의 흡연도 규제를 하기 시작하였다. 이러한 관점에서 캐나다는 가장 선진적인 간접흡연규제정책을 실시하는 국가이다. 또한 싱가포르도 이러한 정책에 동참하고 있으며, 미국의 캘리포니아주에서도 이러한 정책을 실시하고 있다. |
