dc.description.abstract	2018년 「호스피스·완화의료 및 임종과정에 있는 환자의 연명의료결정에 관한 법률」(약칭: 연명의료결정법) 도입으로 자문형 호스피스가 본격적으로 실시되고 있으나 실제 이용 환자의 경험에 대한 논의는 제한돼 있다. 본 연구는 상급종합병원에서 주되게 채택하는 자문형 호스피스에 등록한 말기 환자의 경험과 인식을 당사자의 입장에서 파악하기 위해 수행되었다. 연구 참여자는 2022년 서울 소재 상급종합병원의 자문형 호스피스에 등록한 말기 암환자 10명이다. 인터뷰 내용을 주제 분석 방법으로 분석한 결과, ‘호스피스에 대한 인식’, ‘호스피스 등록 후의 심경’, ‘긍정적인 경험’, ‘부정적인 경험’, ‘나만의 대처 방안’, ‘호스피스 이용자로서의 필요와 희망’의 6개 주제와 17개의 하위주제가 도출되었다. 이에 기반하여 본 연구는 자문형 호스피스에 대한 지속적인 교육 및 인프라 확충, 환자를 위한 심리정서적 돌봄을 제언하였다.
dc.description.abstract	This study aims to explore the experiences of terminal cancer patients in consultation-based hospice and to understand their main concerns and wishes. Although consultation-based hospice was implemented in 2018 with the introduction of the Life Sustaining Treatment Decision Act, little is known about the actual experiences of patients. A thematic analysis was conducted by interviewing 10 participants in a tertiary hospital based in Seoul. Six main themes emerged from the analysis: perceptions on hospice, state of mind following admission into hospice, positive experiences, negative experiences, inner resources for coping, hopes and expectations. Based on these results, practical implications are discussed.
