dc.description.abstract	난임으로 인해 난임 시술을 받는 부부들이 급격하게 증가하고 있지만, 난임 남성이 겪는 독특한 어려움에 대한 논의는 제한되어 왔다. 본 연구는 남성 요인으로 난임 시술을 받은 남성들의 심리사회적 어려움을 이해하기 위해 수행되었다. 의도적 표집을 통해 난임 시술을 경험한 남성 8명을 모집하였고, 심층인터뷰를 수행하였다. 사례 분석 결과 5개의 대주제(난임 진단을 받은 이후 느낀 복합적인 감정, 가족들로 인한 스트레스 증가, 난임 시술 중 배우자와의 관계 어려움, 사회적 관계에서 난임 시술 공개에 대한 스트레스와 부담, 난임 시술 과정에서 마주한 사회적 지지체계의 부족)와 16개의 하위주제가 도출되었다. 연구 결과는 난임의 진단과 난임 시술 결정 및 치료 과정에서 난임 남성이 경험한 개인적, 관계적, 사회적 어려움을 보여주었다. 본 연구의 결과를 통해 난임 시술을 받는 남성들의 심리사회적 어려움을 완화하기 위해 개인적, 사회적 측면의 개입이 필요함을 확인하였다.
dc.description.abstract	Despite the increasing prevalence of infertile couples undergoing infertility treatment, there has been a dearth of attention to the psychosocial challenges encountered by men experiencing infertility. This study aimed to understand the psychosocial challenges of men diagnosed with male-factor infertility who underwent fertility treatment. Through purposive sampling, eight men who had undergone infertility procedures were recruited for in-depth interviews. The case analysis revealed five overarching themes (complex emotions experienced following an infertility diagnosis, heightened stress in family dynamics, difficulties in spousal relationships during infertility treatment, stress and burden associated with disclosing infertility treatment in social relationships, and absence of social support systems during infertility treatment) and 16 subthemes related to challenges faced by infertile men. The findings of the study confirmed the personal, relational, and societal challenges experienced by men during infertility diagnosis and treatment. This study confirmed the importance of implementing interventions at the individual and societal levels to address the psychosocial challenges encountered by infertile men undergoing infertility treatments.
