| dc.description.abstract | 저출산 현상과 맞물린 우리나라의 고령화는 세계적으로도 선례를 찾아보기 힘들 정도로 빠르게 진행되고 있다. 이에 본고는 우리나라의 노인장기요양보험제도 시행 2년을 맞아 제도의 보다 성숙한 발전을 이끌어낼 정책적 방향을 모색하기 위하여 미국의 장기요양보험 체계와 장기요양서비스 제공 체계를 고찰하였다. 미국의 장기요양보험과 서비스 제공 체계는 근본적으로 우리나라의 체계와는 다르지만 재정 악화 문제를 극복하기 위한 공공-민간 제휴 프로그램 개발과 비공식적 보호서비스 제공자에 대한 지원 등 의미 있는 많은 시도가 이루어졌던 만큼 우리나라 제도에 시사하는 바가 크다. |
