2019년 한국의료패널 기초분석보고서(Ⅱ)

Abstract

한국의료패널은 한국보건사회연구원과 국민건강보험공단이 공동으로 수행하는 패널조사로, 2008년부터 국민의 의료비 지출과 의료 이용 결정요인 등에 대해 지속적으로 자료를 생산하고 연구를 진행하고 있다. 한국의료패널 자료를 통해 국민의 의료비 지출 규모와 보건의료서비스 이용을 파악하고 관련 지표를 생산하여 보건의료 정책 수행의 기초 정보를 제공하는 것을 목적으로 한다.

본 기초분석보고서는 2기 한국의료패널 1차 조사인 2019년 연간데이터의 분석 결과와 2021년 조사 운영 내용을 기술하였다. 본 보고서에 수록된 기초분석 결과는 한국의료패널 가구와 가구원의 2019년 의료 이용 및 보건의료비 지출, 의료이용 경험 등을 포함한다. 본 보고서의 기초분석 결과는 관련 정책 개발과 다양한 심층분석 연구의 기초 근거자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

The Korea Health Panel Survey (KHP) is a survey that began in 2008 by a consortium constructed by the Korea Institute for Health and Social Affairs (KIHASA) and the National Health Insurance Service (NHIS). The survey has been conducted each year since the beginning; however, the fatigue of the panel households has been accumulated as the survey extended over a long period, the compliance to the survey, and the panel households have continuously left. Furthermore, there have been continuous demands for the improvement of the survey contents reflecting changes in the demographic structure and the healthcare and medical policy environment. Accordingly, the KIHASA-NHIS Consortium had discussed measures for the development of the KHP since 2015 and decided to launch the 2nd Korea Health Panel newly. Starting 2019, the 2nd New KHP has conducted a survey each year, reflecting requests for improvement of the items in the 1st KHP, it added nursing and care costs, patient experiences, unmet health care needs, and health behavior-related expenses in addition to healthcare utilization and expenditure in the survey contents. This is the first survey report on the 2nd New KHP , which includes the results of descriptive statistics on healthcare service utilization and healthcare expenditures, multimorbidity, patient experiences, unmet healthcare needs, and health behaviors-related expenses of panel households and their members. This report analyzed annual data of 2019, including 14,741 members in 6,689 households in the analysis. This report will lay the foundation for better understanding healthcare utilization and expenditures and evaluating and improving health and medical policies.
