dc.description.abstract	한국의료패널은 개인과 가구의 의료비 지출 규모를 파악하고 의료 이용 결정 요인, 의료비 재원을 파악하기 위해 2008년에 시작된 패널 조사이다. 제1기 한국의료패널이 2018년 연간 데이터 생산을 마지막으로 종료됨에 따라 제2기 한국의료패널이 설계되었고, 의료 이용 조사에 결손이 없도록 2019년 연간 데이터부터 자료를 생산할 예정이다. 제2기 한국의료패널은 2016년 등록 센서스를 표본 추출 틀로 하여 패널 가구를 추출하였으며, 제1기 한국의료패널과 연속성을 유지하며 의료 이용 변화와 의료 이용을 둘러싼 환경 변화를 반영할 수 있도록 조사 내용과 방식을 설계하였다. 한국의료패널은 포괄적으로 개인의 보건의료비 지출을 파악하고 의료 이용과 의료비 지출에 영향을 주는 다양한 요인을 분석할 수 있는 자료를 지속적으로 생산해 왔다. 제2기 패널 시작을 통해 이러한 역할이 강화될 것으로 기대된다.
dc.description.abstract	The Korea Health Panel (KHP) Survey is a longitudinal study designed to examine medical service use, out-of-pocket healthcare payments, and uninsured medical services. The lst KHP Survey provided 11 waves of data for the years between 2008 and 2018, and the 2nd KHP will provide panel data from 2019, using a new sample extracted from 2016 registered Census data. The 2nd Korea Health Panel (KHP) Survey was intended to provide a continuous data, reflecting the changing medical service use and the context surrounding it. KHP has provided and will continue to provide valuable data for healthcare expenditure and service use in Korea.
