2018년 한국의료패널 기초분석보고서(Ⅱ) - 질병 이환, 만성질환, 건강 행태와 건강 수준

Abstract

한국의료패널은 한국보건사회연구원과 국민건강보험공단의 컨소시엄으로 수행되는 조사로, 2008년부터 국민의 의료비 지출과 의료 이용 결정 요인 등에 대해 개인 및 가구 단위의 통계를 생산하고 있다. 한국의료패널 자료를 통해 국가 보건의료체계의 대응성·접근성 향상과 효율화를 위한 정책 수행의 기초 정보를 제공하는 것을 목적으로 한다.

본 기초분석보고서는 1기 한국의료패널의 마지막 차수인 14차 조사 자료의 분석 결과와 2기 한국의료패널의 2020년 조사 추진 현황을 기술하였다. 본 보고서에 수록된 14차 조사 자료 기초분석 결과는 한국의료패널 가구와 가구원의 2018년 질병 이환 현황 및 유병 상태, 의료 이용 및 의료비 지출, 주요 건강 행태 변화 등을 포함한다. 본 보고서의 기초 분석 결과는 정책 기여도가 높은 심층 분석 연구가 수행되는 데 기초 근거 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

Korea Health Panel Survey (KHP) was initiated in 2008 by a consortium of the Korea Institute for Health and Social Affairs (KIHASA) and the National Health Insurance Service (NHIS) in order to identify factors related to healthcare expenditure and to support policies which could correspond to the rapidly changing healthcare environment. The KHP provides not only information on healthcare utilization and healthcare expenditure among households and individuals, but also various factors influencing it, such as socioeconomic characteristics, chronic conditions, private health insurance, and health behaviors. This is the primary analysis report which includes descriptive statistics on the morbidity of chronic diseases, healthcare service utilization, healthcare expenditures, and health behaviors among households and individuals. This report is based on the 2018 annual data having 17008 individuals in 6379 households. We anticipate this report could provide the basis to better understand the dynamic and complex structure of healthcare expenditures and also lay the foundation for improving health policies.
