가정외보호 자립준비대상아동의 회복탄력성과 영향 요인

Abstract

자립준비대상아동은 원가족으로부터의 분리, 가정외보호, 그리고 보호 종료라는 다중적 위기 상황에 놓여 있다. 회복탄력성은 이들이 위기를 극복하고 성공적으로 자립할 수 있도록 하는 기재가 될 수 있다. 이에 본 연구는 아동복지법상 자립준비대상인 만 15세 이상 가정외보호아동의 회복탄력성과 영향 요인을 사회생태학적 관점에서 탐색하였다. 양육시설, 공동생활가정, 위탁가정에서 보호받으며 자립을 준비하는 아동을 대상으로 보호유형별로 회복탄력성 수준의 차이가 있는지, 회복탄력성에 영향을 미치는 요인이 무엇인지 확인하기 위해 「가정외보호아동 자립준비 실태조사」 자료를 활용하여 일원배치분산분석과 단계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 가정외보호 유형 간 회복탄력성의 차이는 일부 하위 영역에서 통계적으로 유의하였다. 둘째, 가정외보호 아동의 회복탄력성 영향 요인은 우울, 자기효능감, 사회적 지지, 가정외보호 유형, 자립프로그램 참여로 나타났다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 가정외보호 아동의 회복탄력성을 높이고 성공적인 자립을 돕기 위한 방안을 제시하였다.

Children who are in transition from out-of-home care to adulthood are faced with multiple crises: experience of separation from their family and scheduled termination of out-of-home care services. Resilience can help these children overcome crises and successfully adapt to society. The purpose of this study is to explore the resilience and influence factors of children over 15 years old in out-of-home care from an social ecological perspective. One-way ANOVA was conducted to identify differences in resilience levels between types of out-of-home care services and stepwise regression was conducted to identify factors affecting resilience. The results showed that differences in resilience between types of home care services were statistically significant only in some sub-regions. Depression, self-efficacy, social support, type of out-of-home care services and Independent Living Program participation were identified as significant predictors of resilience of out-of-home care children. Based on the study results, suggestions were made to improve resilience of children in out-of-home care and help their preparation for independent living.
