dc.description.abstract	미국 뉴욕주 정신보건서비스 및 임상지식 향상 시스템(PSYCKES)은 다양한 의료 및 행정 데이터베이스와 정보를 공유하여 메디케이드 의료보험 사용자 중 800만 명 이상의 개인 의료정보를 과거 5년까지 검색할 수 있는 실시간 웹 기반 통합 의료정보 허브이다. 개인 의료정보 중 별도의 주의가 필요한 다양한 질 관리 지표, 자살 시도 기록 및 이에 대한 개입 여부를 확인할 수 있어 뉴욕주 정신보건 현장에서 자살 예방의 실질적 도구로 활용되고 있다. 이 글에서는 자살통계 및 데이터에 근거한 자살 예방 활동을 위해 활용되는 빅데이터베이스, PSYCKES를 소개하고, 한국에서 2018년 이후 전국적으로 구축된 정신건강 사례 관리 시스템과 자살 예방에 주는 정책적 시사점을 살펴보고자 한다.
