dc.description.abstract	최근 한국에도 난민신청자가 급증하고 있으며, 이를 둘러싼 사회적 갈등과 대립이 고조될 조짐을 보이고 있다. 이 글에서는 난민의 유입이 초래할 수 있는 경제적 효과에 대한 연구결과들을 유럽의 사례를 중심으로 검토한다. 난민 유입은 단기적으로는 재정 부담을 초래하지만 장기적으로 경제성장을 촉진하고 재정 개선에 도움이 된다는 것이 대체적인 결론이다. 다수의 연구에 따르면 노동시장에서 내국인과 난민 간의 상충관계도 생각만큼 심각하지 않다. 오히려 적극적 노동정책을 통해 난민을 조기에 노동시장에 참여하도록 유도하는 것이 중요하다.
