초록
우리나라는 2001년 합계출산율 1.30으로 초저출산 사회로 진입한 이래로 2013년 까지 약 13년 동안 초저출산 상태를 지속하고 있다. 이러한 초저출산 현상의 지속은 교육적인 측면에서 학령인구 감소에 따른 학생 수 감소, 교원 수급 불균형에 따른 교원 채용의 불안정, 학교 통폐합, 유휴 교원의 발생 등의 문제점들을 초래할 것이다. 본 연구에서는 인구추계 시나리오에 따라 초저출산 및 초고령사회 현상이 지속될 경우, 향후 교육의 각 부분에서 발생할 각종 위기들을 진단하고, 그 결과를 바탕으로 다양한 대응방안을 사회문화적 담론과 연결시켜 체계적으로 모색하고 있다.
Korea has maintained its ultra-low fertility state for last 14 years since 2000. The continued ultra-low fertility phenomenon is causing various problems, such as decrease in number of students due to the decline of school-aged population etc. This study utilizes three scenarios of population projection (S1: total fertility rate 1.42, S2: total fertility rate 1.20, S3: total fertility rate 0. 98) in order to analyze their educational implications in various perspectives. Based on the diversified scenarios of issues, this research attempts to provide a set of differentiated analytical results to implement the proper educational measures and alternatives. In the end, this research endeavors to assess the various crises in the future education in case current ultra-low fertility and super aging phenomena continues until 2050 or 2100 based on three scenarios of population projection. Accordingly, on the grounds of these practical assessments, this study seeks to systematically approach the various countermeasures in relation to socio-cultural discourses.
