| dc.description.abstract | 본 연구는 소아암 환아 부모의 자녀 양육을 위해 필요한 서비스 욕구를 파악하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 의도적 표집 방법을 이용하여 만 19세 이전에 암을 진단받아 만 5년 내로 경과한 소아암 환아 부모 40명(어머니 20명, 아버지 20명)을 모집하였고, 반구조화된 질문을 사용하여 심층면접을 수행하였다. 주제분석 방법을 이용하여 분석한 결과, 연구 참여자들은 양육역량을 강화하고 양육부담을 경감시키기 위해 양육방법 지원(양육교육 및 코칭 지원, 양육상담 지원, 양육에 필요한 의료 정보 제공), 양육 지지네트워크 형성(부모 멘토링 지원, 부모 지지모임 지원, 완치자 연결 지원), 가족기능 강화(부모심리상담 지원, 부부관계 상담 지원, 소아암 자녀 형제자매와의 관계 개선 지원), 재정지원(치료비 지원, 치료비 외 부대비용 지원, 후유증 치료비 지원), 돌봄지원(자녀놀이 지원, 소아암 자녀의 형제자매 돌봄 지원, 자녀 학업지원), 양육스트레스 해소(직장휴가 지원, 여가 프로그램 제공)를 위한 구체적인 서비스 욕구를 나타냈다. 본 연구결과는 소아암 환아 부모의 자녀양육에 대한 서비스 욕구가 높으며, 미시적, 거시적 차원에서 이들의 자녀양육을 지원하는 통합적인 서비스 및 정책의 마련이 시급함을 보여준다. |
| dc.description.abstract | This study examined the service needs of parents of children with cancer for effective parenting. Using purposive sampling, we recruited 20 mothers and 20 fathers of children who had been diagnosed with cancer before the age of 19 and who were within 5 years of the diagnosis. In-depth interviews were conducted with the parents using semi-structured questions about their parenting needs. Based on thematic analysis, we identified the following service needs: (1) Improving parenting skills (offering parent education and coaching, parent counseling, medical information for parents), (2) building parenting support networks (setting up mentoring and support groups and making connections with survivors), (3) strengthening family functioning (delivering psychological counseling and marital relationship counseling and improving the parents" relationships with the siblings of the children with cancer), (4) providing financial support (for cancer treatment, non-medical costs of cancer treatment, other side effect treatment), (5) supporting caregiving activities (making available entertaining activities for children with cancer, day care for siblings of the children with cancer, and assistance for academic improvement of children with cancer and their siblings), and (6) reducing caregiving stress (enacting family medical leave at work and providing stress reduction activities for caregivers). The study results highlight the strong needs for services to support parents of children with cancer, and suggest integrative interventions and policies at both the micro- and macro-level. |
