dc.description.abstract	2015년 5월 중동호흡기증후군이 국내로 유입된 이후 지속적으로 확산됨에 따라 한국 사회는 공중보건위기상황을 경험하였다. 중동호흡기증후군 감염을 통해 국내 감염병 관리체계와 더불어 병원 감염에 대한 관리의 중요성이 부각되었으며, 이를 계기로 신종감염병에 대한 준비성을 강화하고 효과적인 대응을 위한 감염병 관리체계 마련의 필요성이 대두되었다. 본 연구에서는 국내에서 유행한 중동호흡기 증후군에 대한 개괄적인 이해를 바탕으로 프랑스, 독일, 미국, 일본 4개 국가의 감염병관리기구 및 감염병 예방 및 관리체계를 종합적으로 비교 검토 하였다. 또한 각국의 사례를 바탕으로 국내 감염병 관리체계의 문제점 및 개선방안을 제시하였다.
dc.description.abstract	This study aimed to describe problems of infectious disease prevention and control systems of Korea and to suggest programs and policies to improve current systems. To achieve new and deep insights, this study explored the infectious disease prevention and control systems of the United States, France, Japan, and Germany using websites and literature reviews, site visits, and in-person interviews. Findings of this study suggest the importance of capacity building for appropriate preparation and response toward infectious diseases prevention and control, especially for the emerging infectious diseases like MERS-Cov. In addition, we need to strengthen our systems of infectious disease prevention and control in hospitals, local and central government levels. Lastly, this study also highlights the necessity of collaborative networks between systems.
