dc.description.abstract	우리나라는 IMF 경제위기와 국민기초생활보장제도의 도입 이후 빈곤 및 불평등에 대한 연구가 증가하여 왔으며, 관련 자료에 대한 수요도 증가하여 왔다. 또한 2007년부터 시작된 세계경제위기는 빈곤 및 불평등을 심화시키고 있으며, 과거의 일부 취약계층에게만 그 영향이 집중되는 것이 아니라, 중산층에게까지 포괄적으로 영향을 미치고 있다. 따라서 빈곤 및 불평등 관련 통계자료에 대한 수요는 더욱 확대될 전망이다. 본 연구는 선행된 빈곤통계연보(2006~2014년)의 연속성을 유지하면서, 주요 지표의 시계열적 변화를 파악할 수 있는 정보를 제공하여 정책입안자 및 관련 연구자에게 정부의 빈곤 및 불평등 관련 정책수립에 근거자료로 활용할 수 있도록 편의를 제공하고자 한다. 전가구 기준으로 주요 지표추이를 살펴보면, 시장소득 기준 절대빈곤율은 2010년 이후 감소하는 경향을 보이다, 2013년 이후 증가 추세를 보이고 있다. 또한 상대빈곤율은 시장소득 적용시 2010년 이후 등락을 반복하고 있으며, 가처분소득 적용시 2009년 이후부터 완만하게 감소하고 있다. 불평등 추이를 지니계수를 통해 살펴보면, 2014년 시장소득 기준 0.331로 전년대비 0.003상승하였으며, 차처분소득 기준은 0.294로 전년도 수준을 유지하고 있다. 전반적으로 소득의 경우 불평등이 전년대비 비슷한 수준인 반면 지출에 대한 불평등은 악화된 것으로 나타났다.
dc.description.abstract	ㅇ Research Aims － The primary purpose of this research is to produce statistics on poverty and inequality using the most reliable source of data about household income in Korea. － By providing basic statistics on poverty and inequality, this year book will contribute to informing social policy and program development for policy makers, researchers, and a broad spectrum of agencies that serve vulnerable populations. ㅇ Main Results － Using the official Minimum Cost Living, poverty rate based on market income is 12.2% in 2014. － Applying the official Minimum Cost Living, poverty rate is 8.6% with disposable income in 2014. Although it has been bouncing up and down slightly, the poverty rates is stable around 8% except in 2009(9.5%). － With 50% of median income, poverty rate based on market income is 16.7% and 13.3% by disposable income in 2014. － The Gini coefficient is 0.331 with market income and 0.294 with disposable income in 2014.
