dc.description.abstract	1990년대 이후 서구 복지국가들은 공적연금의 재정 불안정 문제를 해결하기 위해 적립방식 사적연금의 역할을 강화하는 공·사적 연금 혼합(public-private pension mix) 정책을 추진하고 있다. 그러나 사적연금 강화에 따른 리스크 증가와 노후 빈곤/불평등 심화 등 과연 사적연금이 공적연금의 역할 축소를 충실히 보완할 수 있는가에 대한 의문 또한 제기되고 있는 상황이다. 본 연구는 해외 공·사적 연금 혼합 정책에 대한 심층 분석과 우리나라 공·사적 연금 체계의 핵심을 구성하는 국민연금, 기초연금, 퇴직연금의 노후소득보장 효과에 대한 경험적 분석을 기초로 향후 우리나라 공·사적 연금 체계의 발전 방향을 제시하고 있다.
dc.description.abstract	This study analyzes the old-age income protection effects of the public-private pension mix and proposes policy recommendations in South Korea. Recently, the Korean government announced the plan for strengthening the occupational pension. However, due to the recent introduction and narrow coverage of the occupational pension, it is unlikely that the occupational pension will compensate for the reduction of the Korean National Pension in the near future. Although the role of the occupational pension is important in the new public-private mix scheme, the results show that the Korean National Pension and basic pension need to assume the primary role for providing basic income security for those who are not adequately protected by the occupational pension.
