| dc.description.abstract | 본 연구는 장애인의 삶의 만족도를 장애수용도, 자아존중감, 그리고 일상생활만족도의 세 영역으로 측정하고 이에 공적이전소득이 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 고찰하였다. 이를 위해 장애인고용패널조사 4차년도와 7차년도 자료를 이용하여, 수급자와 미수급자의 특성에 대한 평균비교 검정과 삶의 만족도 결정의 순서형 로짓모형(ordered logit regression) 분석을 시행하였다. 분석 결과, 공적이전 소득은 장애수용도에는 양, 자아존중감과 일상생활만족도에는 음의 영향을 갖는 것으로 나타났는데 그 영향의 강도는 매우 미미하였다. 학력이나 근로소득과 같은 사회경제적 지위는 장애인의 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향이 크지 않았으나, 취업과 자아존중감과의 상관관계는 매우 높았다. 장애인의 삶의 만족도에 주요한 결정요인은 건강관련 요인 및 사회적 참여 요인이었으며, 특히 현재의 건강상태, 대인관계 및 조직적응력 및 차별의 경험의 영향이 주요하였다. 이러한 연구결과는, 장애인의 삶의 만족도를 실질적으로 향상시키기 위해서는 공적이전소득 제도의 개편 및 확대 노력이 요구되며, 이와 함께 근로기회 및 의료보장 지원, 소속감과 긍정적인 사회적 관계 영위를 가능케하는 장애인 지원 정책이 수립되어야 함을 시사한다. |
| dc.description.abstract | This study examined determinants of life satisfaction among people with disabilities in Korea with a special focus on the role of public transfer income. Using the 2011 and 2014 Panel Survey of Employment for the Disabled, life satisfaction of total 3,990 registered individuals with disabilities is identified by categorial indicators of disability acceptance, self-esteem, and daily satisfaction. Results of the Ordered Logit estimations showed that public transfer income has mixed and weak association with life satisfaction of people with disabilities. Self-rated health status, interpersonal skills and experience of discrimination in daily activities are major contributors to life satisfaction whereas the impacts of socio-economics factors such as education, employment status, and labor income are limited. These findings implied that public transfer income should be enhanced to effectively promote quality of life among people with disabilities. Policy efforts further need to incorporate health care assistance and social-psychological support. |
